The forthcoming American buddy cop action comedy Bad Boys: Ride or Die is written and directed by Adil & Bilall and stars Chris Bremner. It’s the follow-up to Bad Boys for Life (2020), produced by Columbia Pictures in collaboration with Don Simpson/Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Westbrook Studios, and 2.0 Entertainment, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. Tasha Smith replaces Theresa Randle, who played Theresa Burnett in the previous three films, in the role of Theresa Burnett. Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, Jacob Scipio, Joe Pantoliano, and DJ Khaled all return from their previous roles. Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Melanie Liburd, and Tiffany Haddish are among the new cast members.
The movie will be released on June 7, 2024, in the United States.
Plot
When their late captain is posthumously accused of being linked with drug cartels, Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett look into corruption inside the Miami Police Department. However, a setup makes them fugitives, forcing them to operate outside the law to solve the case.
