Falz shares his knee surgery journey
Popular Nigerian singer, music executive and activist, Folarin Falana, also known as Falz the Bahd guy underwent a knee surgery in the UK.
The “Bop Daddy” crooner disclosed this in a video posted on his Instagram on Wednesday evening, May 10th.
Falz said he sustained a knee injury while playing football in November 2022, and after a medical consultation, he was adviced that he needed to carry out a knee surgery to repair his ACL.
Falz flew to the UK where he successfully underwent the knee surgery. Taking to his Instagram page on Wednesday, he posted a clip of himself in the hospital and gave a well detailed pre and post-surgery experience.
Further speaking, he said “On the 23rd, I went to play football, and I sustained a knee injury. And it’s pretty serious. On November 30th, 2022, I tore my ACL. My MRI came back, and it showed that there is a complete tear on my ACL. I have been advised to go into surgery to fix it,”
In the video, Falz sought for prayers from his fans and well-wishers, as he embarks on the journey to full recovery.
“Current situation. It’s a whole journey to being 100% back. Say a prayer for me,” he said.
