Johnny Drille spoke about his relationship with actress Tomi Ojo
John Ighodaro, also known as Johnny Drille, Is a popular Nigerian artist, and has disclosed that his connection with the fast-rising actress Tomi Ojo is completely platonic.
Remember how the two fueled dating rumors a while back when they shared love-up photographs and videos of themselves on their individual social media pages?
Initially, fans assumed it was a promotional film for Johnny Drille’s single ‘Believe Me,’ but as Tomi shared additional cute photographs of them, it sparked speculation that they were a couple.
However, in a recent Hip TV interview, Johnny Drille stated that they are “just friends.”
“First of all, if you watched the ‘Believe Me’ music video, you would know that there are two Ojos in the song. One is Wale Ojo, the other one is Tomi Ojo. It was, in a way, some kind of pun, but it seemed to work well together,” he said.
“But as for the relationship, Tomi Ojo is an amazing person. She’s fantastic to work with. She’s very great for the music video. That is the much I can say. That’s all I can say,” he added.
This comes just a few days after Johnny revealed his spouse, Rima Tahini. It was revealed that he married Rima, the Director A&R at Mavin Records, in a private wedding in January 2022.
