Kiekie reveals she splits rent with her husband
Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, also known as Kiekie, a Nigerian comedian and skitmaker, said that she splits rent and other expenditures with her husband.
This was stated by Kiekie in a recent interview with Toke Makinwa. She explained that she wouldn’t feel comfortable staying in a house if she didn’t contribute to the rent.
She went on to say that sharing the financial burden of rent would provide equal ownership of the property, so that in the event of a disagreement, they would divide everything equally. Toke mentioned that she does not believe in splitting rent payments with a partner. Kiekie stated that it is acceptable for a woman not to participate if she has the financial means, but if she can afford it, she can share the financial load.
