Following the singer’s untimely death on September 12, his longtime lover Wunmi revealed that they were married and had a child.

However, because of the mystery surrounding his murder, several netizens, lead by Very Black Man, have demanded that a DNA test be performed on the boy to erase any doubts about his wife’s role in his death.

This irritated Mohbad‘s sister-in-law, who threatened to sue Very Black Man for N300 million for ordering the DNA test.

In response to the online debate, Larry, the CEO of African Television, has offered to fund the DNA test and has pledged to pay Wunmi N10 million if Mohbad is proven to be her son’s biological father.
